PEOPLE COMMIT CRIME FOR SELFISH REASONS








Increasing crime rate in modern society is a serious concern for the crime of threatening the peace, harmony and happiness of the people and country.‘Crime’ can be defined as illegal or against law while ‘selfish’ is thinking only about self need for wishes and not about other people’s. It is agreed that people commit crime for selfish. People commit crime because they need freedom, have family problem and madden by power.

All people want the freedom to do anything to satisfy their desires without any restrictions. For example, adolescents involved in illegal racing. They do it because like fun. This act is very dangerous to them. In addition, nowadays there are many cases of abandoned babies as a result of immoral among couples having no ties so established that the person committed the crime for want of freedom.

In addition, family problem families problems are also one of the reasons people commit crimes. Parental divorce and family poverty can cause a person to commit crimes as not willing to lead such a life. For example, distributing or taking cocaine, and others to address problems of poverty and family.

Moreover, in politics as well, people do not get to commit crimes of bribery by a desire to occupy a high position in a job and also have a power hungry attitude. In the current bribery cases is also increasing in Malaysia.  This crime would lead the country will lose the peace, justice and harmony.

In conclusion, personal choice dominates the motives of individual actions so that people commit crime for their selfish reasons such as because their freedom, family problems and madden by power. All this is done based on their individual capabilities to get what they think is rightfully theirs.
